“Murder at Regent Manor” hits the stage Thursday April 24 to Sunday April 27, 2025. Showtimes are Thursday to Saturday at 6:30 pm and Sunday at 4:30 pm. (Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.)
In this parody of cozy murder mysteries, matriarch Imperia Regent, who is still very much alive, plans to share the contents of her will with her five undeserving nieces and nephews. Quite coincidentally, delightfully eccentric amateur sleuth Jayne Mayple arrives at her Ladyship’s home, Regent Manor, seeking shelter from a coming storm. You probably see where this is heading considering that murder seems to follow Miss Mayple wherever she goes!
That evening, Lady Regent shocks her nieces and nephews, inexplicably leaving her entire fortune and estate to the one niece she dislikes most. Shortly after midnight, a bloodcurdling scream is heard. It seems Miss Mayple has stumbled into yet another murder! Before she can solve the first murder, another occurs. Everyone is a suspect, even Miss Mayple herself as well as the police inspector assigned to the case.
In typical cozy murder mystery fashion, all the suspects are assembled as Miss Mayple unravels the clues and reveals the truth about the murders at Regent Manor.
Play written by Michael Druce and produced by special arrangement with PIONEER DRAMA SERVICE. Denver, Colorado
