Choirs

TMUC is home to four choirs that bring the joy of music into our worship:  The Chancel Choir, the Carillon Singers, the Joyful Noise Choir and Teeny Noise Choir.

The Chancel Choir is an adult choir who lead worship every Sunday of the month except for the last Sunday of the month.  Annette Hay is the Music Director for this choir and new members are always welcome.  Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:30 pm.

The Carillon Singers are a contemporary choir who offer musical leadership on the last Sunday of the month from September to June.  Worship is Folk Communion style.  Anneli Loepp-Thiessen is the Music Director and anyone aged 13 and over is invited to participate.  Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 8 – 9:30 pm.

Joyful Noise Choir is for children ages 7 – 12 yrs.   Teeny Noise Choir is for younger children from 3 – 6 yrs of age.  Both of these choirs sing before Christmas and Easter and are led by Anneli Loepp-Thiessen.  Two rehearsals for each choir are the Saturday mornings prior to singing at the worship service.  Teeny Noise practices 10 – 10:30 am and Joyful Noise practices immediately after from 10:30 – 11:15 am.
