Transcona Food Bank

Since 1988, Transcona Memorial United Church has been the home of the Transcona Food Bank!

Located at 209 Yale Avenue W, the Transcona Food Bank is a partner in the community with other churches, organizations, businesses and schools.

To access the Transcona Food Bank, clients must first register with Harvest Manitoba by calling 204-982-3660.

Transcona Food Bank is a rebooking Food Bank so you do not have to call in each month. If you have missed or are a no-show to the Food Bank you must call Harvest Manitoba (204) 982-3660 by the Friday before the next opening and re-register.

On Food Bank days, doors open at 8:00 am and food is served at 9:00 am. Late arrivals will not be served and will be considered a no-show.

The Food Bank can be accessed through the front glass doors at 209 Yale W. There is a ramp outside and an elevator inside for those in need.

DONATIONS TO THE FOOD BANK WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING CHURCH OFFICE HOURS ONLY.

September to June: Tuesday to Friday 9:00 am – noon / 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
July & August: Tuesday to Friday 9:00 am – noon
