This is a week for announcements, a request and a reminder
First the announcements:
The Scrap Metal Drive is this Saturday! October 16th from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The Building and Property Team is hosting TMUC’s Annual Scrap Metal Drive: Please bring your scrap metal (tin cans/pop cans/larger metal items) to the back parking lot at the church at 209 Yale Avenue West. (Share the news with friends and neighbours too please!)
TMUC’s Messy Church Team is a part of the leadership of the Canadian Messy Church Conference – and – you are invited! There are great workshops and speakers, it is all online and everything is free! https://messychurch.ca/conference for all the information!
Now the request:
Now that TMUC is worshipping in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, we need greeters!
The task? Before church:
Welcome people at the door
Confirm that they are:
- vaccinated (Government card and photo ID)
- Medically unable to be vaccinated (Government card and photo ID)
- Under 12
Ensure they take a new mask from the TMUC supply
After Church:
Close the church – lights off, doors locked, alarm on.
