Today, Lynne Mavins and I visited the TMUC Sanctuary to record God Weeps. It is a hymn whose poetry seems particularly timely this week.
God weeps
at love withheld,
at strength misused,
at children’s innocence abused,
and till we change the way we love,
God weeps.
It is a hymn of lament – particularly timely for these days when racism and violence abound, and we must find a path to peace that is founded in justice.
The recording is posted to the TMUC’s Instagram account. Here is the link:

Part of justice and healing is always about caring for everyone in community. We have been doing that in a number of ways, one of which is our weekly ZOOM. If you would like to be part (no previous experience necessary), the link follows. We would be delighted to see you!
Here’s the link for Thursday, June 4 at 9 am.
