Yesterday was officially the first day of summer.

For some people, summertime includes visits to other places.

For some, summertime might include church visits to other churches.

The TBJIGGN churches are inviting people to participate in Church-orama this summer – a collaborative invitation to worship with other faith communities.

TBJIGGN is comprised of seven faith communities – Transcona Memorial, Birds Hill, John Black Memorial, Immanuel, The Big Red Church (Gordon King Memorial), Grey Street and North Kildonan.

During the summer, TMUC will have weekly Sunday worship services, but the others will have worship on only some Sundays.

So, TBJIGGN invites you to pick up a Church-orama ‘passport’ (available from any of the faith communities) and take it with you if you chooses to visit on a Sunday morning. You will receive a ‘stamp’ on your passport at each worship service. The passport lists the dates on which communities are the host worship service. TMUC is a designated host site on three Sundays.

Passports are available from the TMUC church office.

During the summer, TMUC will continue to livestream our worship services.

This Sunday will be our first venture at using YouTube rather than ZOOM for live streaming.

Below is the link to use to access the livestream. You can access it beginning at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday:

We again to thank everyone who continues to support TMUC’s ministry in so many ways. Our Pop Can Drive and TruEarth fundraisers continue through the summer.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun-filled summer. We keep you in our prayers,
Carol and Jeff
