KAIROS Blanket Exercise: TMUC’s Outreach Team is hosting a Blanket Exercise experience on Saturday, November 8, beginning at 10:00am. The Kairos Blanket Exercise (KBE) experience includes a smudge, drum song, storytelling, sharing circle, and a 500-year timeline activity to help participants gain a deeper understanding and awareness of Indigenous peoples in Canada, the impact of Residential Schools, The Indian Act, The Sixties Scoop, and more. This event will be held in Yale Hall and will be approximately 3 hours in length. Admission is by donation. Registration to participate is required (limit of 40 people). Please contact Dallis in the church office to register. Refreshments will be provided.
