Volunteers needed for the Time & Talent Auction! Additional folks required for set-up of: tables, chairs, podium, auction items (Friday daytime); canteen coordinator; payment table; and three auctioneers!
Green Weekend
Metal Drive
On Saturday, September 21, TMUC will be hosting our annual metal drive. We’ll be collecting all types of scrap metal in the parking lot behind the church between the hours of 9 am to 3 pm. Here’s the opportunity to clear out your garage/basement/cottage. If it goes “clank” or “ping” when you hit it with a hammer, we’ll take it.
Tree Planting Ceremony
On Sunday September 22, we will be celebrating the conclusion of our Green Project. Our 10:00 service will be focussed on our care for the Earth. After the service, at 11:15 or so, we will have a tree planting ceremony in front of the CE Building, followed by light refreshments in Yale Hall.
