From where do you get your news?

There are so many sources from newspaper to TV, from Facebook to Twitter, or chit chat on the phone or in the lineup at the store, or….or….!

Did you know that there is another source?  It is not daily news, but it is a reflection on the news – and it comes from the United Church.

The United Church regularly makes statements about what is happening in our country and around the world.  So, if you want to know what the United Church is saying, here is the response to the terrorism attack on the Muslim family in London:

In one of the recent TMUC ZOOM gatherings, we wondered aloud what we could do with all that in happening in the world – and one of the answers was to inform ourselves.  Having information provides us with the opportunity to care.

It is as true in our own community as it is in the world.  It is important to care about one another.  If you would like to check-in and reflect on where we see God in the world this week, please join in on the ZOOMs.

June ZOOM’s are Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m. and Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m.  Jeff and I are taking turns as we enjoy some holiday time.
